BAD FATS (Type of fats na dapat I-avoid as much as possible)
– butter
– margarine
– shortening
– beef or pork fat
– fried foods (French fries, doughnuts, deep-fried fast foods)
– margarine (stick and tub)
– vegetable shortening
– baked goods (cookies, cakes, pastries)
– processed snack foods (crackers, microwave popcorn)

SATURATED FATS (Not so bad pero must be consumed in moderation)
– fatty cuts of beef, pork, and lamb
– dark chicken meat and poultry skin
– high-fat dairy foods (whole milk, butter, cheese, sour cream, ice cream)
– tropical oils (coconut oil, palm oil, cocoa butter)
– lard

GOOD FATS
– nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts, pecans)
– vegetable oils (olive oil, peanut oil)
– peanut butter and almond butter
– avocado
– salmon
– herring
– sardines
– trout
– tofu
– roasted soy beans and soy nut butter
– walnuts
– seeds (sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds)
– vegetable oils (corn oil, safflower oil, sesame oil, sunflower oil)
– soft margarine (liquid or tub)

Bad Carbs:

– Sugary drinks: Coca cola, Pepsi, Vitaminwater, etc.
– Fruit juices
– White bread
– Pastries, cookies and cakes
– Ice cream
– Candies and chocolates (except for dark chocolates)
– French fries and potato chips

Good Carbs:

– Vegetables
– Whole fruits: Apples, bananas, strawberries, etc.
– Legumes: Lentils, kidney beans, peas, etc.
– Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, etc.
– Seeds: Chia seeds, pumpkin seeds.
– Whole grains: oats, quinoa, brown rice, etc.
– Tubers: Potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc.

Matagal na din yung nakalipas mula nung naalis ko yung excess weight sa katawan ko at na-achieve yung desired weight goal ko. Sinusunod ko pa din yung ibang rules pero hindi na ako ganun ka-strict pagdating sa pagkain. Pero bakit hindi ako nagggain ng weight? Intermittent Fasting.

Wala talaga akong idea sa kung ano yung intermittent fasting dati, unintentional ko syang ginagawa dahil na din sa pagod from work kaya mula nung nalaman ko yung Intermittent Fasting For Beginners, tuloy tuloy na yung naging research ko and na-prove ko talaga na maganda sya for my health.
