To release burps or farts use this easy technique either with baby over shoulder or lying across your lap. Gently massage the outside edge of the spine (easiest to locate in the spaces between the ribs) but you massage all the way down the spine to the sacrum. You will feel a space there. Sometimes the baby will jump and then usually in about 30 seconds release the gas. Many babies have relief with this technique. Simple and easy to learn and do!
